Sea Of Thieves Kraken Battle Teased In New Launch Trailer

Sea of Thieves, acclaimed developer Rare's Xbox One and PC pirate game, is almost here. Ahead of release, Microsoft has now released the game's launch trailer.

The video shows off the game's lovely visuals and customization options for characters and ships. Intriguingly, we also see a Kraken at the very end. What's that about? We can only imagine you'll have to do battle with the massive sea monster at some point in the game.

Sea of Thieves launches on March 20 for Xbox One and PC. It is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so you get copies for both systems. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox One can play the full game right away at no extra cost starting on March 20.

Among the things you can do in Sea of Thieves is fire yourself (or other players) out of cannons in order to reach islands faster or sneak aboard enemy vessels.
