It's day two of San Diego Comic-Con, and the slew of news around the biggest upcoming movies, TV shows, comics, and movies is only beginning. One of the big announcements from the event is around Mayans M.C., which is the spin-off show of popular biker gang drama Sons of Anarchy. The second season arrives this September, and while the show will feature at SDCC on Sunday, July 21, the first trailer for the new season has been released.

The trailer picks up where Season 1 left off, with Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes hunting for the truth behind his mother's murder, while having to deal with the difficult relationship his has with both his brother Angel and father Felipe. It looks every bit as gritty, dramatic, and action-packed as Season 1--check the trailer out below.

Mayans M.C. was co-created by Kurt Sutter, who also created Sons of Anarchy and was one of the head writers of the classic cop drama The Shield. It stars JD Pardo as Ezekiel, Clayton Cardenas as Angel, and Edward James Olmos as Felipe. Season 2 will run for 10 episodes and premieres on FX on September 3.

The Mayans M.C. SDCC panel takes place at 1PM PT on July 21 in Hall H. The panel will feature Sutter and co-creator Elgin James, plus Pardo, Cardenas, Olmos, and a variety of other cast members. Click here for more San Diego Comic-Con coverage on GameSpot.
