Universal Interactive has announced that The Scorpion King: The Sword of Osiris has shipped for the Game Boy Advance. This action adventure game is partially based on the upcoming film The Scorpion King, and it places players in the role of the Scorpion King, who must travel through six indoor and outdoor environments that are split into smaller sections. The Scorpion King: The Sword of Osiris will also have 30 different types of enemies and a storyline that's different from that of the upcoming film.

"The timing of the game's release is ideal, enabling fans of The Rock to see the movie and then spend countless hours playing his character, the Scorpion King, as a GBA action hero,'' said Jim Wilson, president of Universal Interactive. "Universal Interactive, working closely with the creative team at WayForward, has produced a rich, vibrant take on the world of the Scorpion King that will please movie fans as well as gamers fond of classic arcade game experiences."
