SCi Games Limited has today announced that it has acquired the interactive rights to Reservoir Dogs from Artisan Entertainment. Reservoir Dogs was released in 1992 and is still considered one of director Quentin Tarantino's finest movies.

Reservoir Dogs will initially be released for the PS2 and Xbox, and, according to today's press release, players will be able to play as any of the key characters from the movie, including not only the color-code-named gangsters, but also key policemen. SCi is promising that in addition to being a single-player game that closely follows the events of the movie, Reservoir Dogs will support large multiplayer games.

"SCi has considerable experience in developing successful computer games based on strong movie plots, such as The Italian Job and The Italian Job ," said Jane Cavanagh, chief executive of SCi. "Reservoir Dogs has a remarkable following within the gaming community. The whole company relishes this exciting opportunity."
