SC&T Supports VM Labs' NUON

Peripheral manufacturer SC&T announced to shareholders on Monday that it plans to support VM Labs' NUON platform. Because of the growing competitiveness and low earnings in the PC and console arenas, the company is redirecting its efforts toward the future NUON platform. As a strategic licensed partner of VM Labs, SC&T claims it will target the more lucrative OEM channel with its accessory products.

VM Labs continues to remain silent on its NUON technology, which will be integrated into DVD players and set-top boxes next year.
