SC2Improve Winter League 2013/2014 open for sign-ups

This will be SC2Improve's second Winter League and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Tefel and uThermal, the stars of the opening show match, will be part of the line-up. The other 14 players will be determined by six qualifiers, the first of which will be taking place on December 17th 2013 at 18:00 GMT.

The format is as follows:

The winner of each qualifier will be automatically placed into the RO16 of the Winter League, along with Tefel and uThermal. The other 8 spots will be filled by those who earned the highest points within the Qualifiers. The RO16 will be made up of four GSL-Style groups, with two players advancing from each group to provide their RO8. From there, it'll be a single elimination BO5 bracket with a BO7 finale.

While the 400 Euro prize pool isn't terribly exciting, the map pool might be a cause for glee. The organizers plan to swap the map pool around and are on the lookout for community maps to use at the event. Sign-up for the SC2Improve Winter League here.
