British singer Sam Smith has shared a 15-second snippet of "Writing's on the Wall," the song he wrote for the upcoming action blockbuster, Spectre. Smith, 23, wrote the song with fellow Grammy winner Jimmy Napes.

Listen to the clip below, which doesn't feature any lyrics but definitely sounds like a Bond song. Commenting on getting the gig earlier this month, Smith said, "This is one of the highlights of my career."

The full song will be available to buy and stream this coming Friday, September 25.

Spectre producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli say the song could be one of the all-time greats.

"Sam and Jimmy have written the most inspirational song for Spectre and with Sam's extraordinary vocal performance, 'Writing's On The Wall' will surely be considered one of the greatest Bond songs of all time," they said earlier this month.

Spectre releases in theaters on November 6 worldwide. It'll be out a week earlier, on October 26, in the UK. It's only 15 seconds, but do you like what you hear so far? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
