One clear influence on Saints Row is the Grand Theft Auto series. Both games share a similar thug mentality, offer carjacking with ease, and are filled to the rim with gratuitous violence. Now, the two share something else: several radio stations with licensed music.

A partial list of the artists and songs that will be featured in Saints Row, which will be released later this month on the Xbox 360, has been revealed. Among the names contributing original music are Rhymefest ("Shut You Down"), Ghostface Killah ("Man Up"), and Daz Dillinger ("Git Out My Way").

While executing drive-bys in hoopties, gamers will be able to choose from 12 radio stations, which span hip-hop, rock and roll, classical, and more. There will be 130 songs in total, including several exclusive tracks. Among the other artists confirmed for the game are De La Soul, Rich Medina, Clipse, Method Man, Masta Ace, Little Brother, Editors, Jane's Addiction, and Iggy Pop.

Below is a partial list of original songs featured on the Saints Row soundtrack.

David Banner / "Saints Row"
