Just a week after announcing an extensive free update, Germany-based Ascaron today unveiled details on an expansion pack for its PC role-playing game. Sacred Underworld will add a plethora of new content and improvements to the game and should be available in stores in early 2005.

Sacred Underworld continues the story right where the original game left off, only this time much of the action will take place underground, all the way down to a portal to hell. Dwarf and succubus characters will be made available, as well as new stories, monsters, items, and armor. All the new content means an expanded gameworld of approximately 35 percent.

GameSpot will provide further information on Sacred Underworld as it becomes available.
