Blizzard announced a few weeks ago that the community should nominate and vote on their favorite players in several categories in the official Blizzard Community Choice Awards. The ballots have been counted and Sacha 'Scarlett' Hostyn is the community's choice for NA player of the year!

Finishing 3rd-4th in WCS Season 2 America after losing a nail-biting fifth game against "the tyrant" Lee 'Jaedong' Jae dong she placed 3rd once again at Red Bull Battlegrounds after snatching victory from the heavily favored Choi 'Bomber' Ji Sung and barely losing against the WCS 2013 grand champion Kim 'sOs' Yoo Jin. Her final LAN of the year was NorthCon 2013 where she once more faced up against Jaedong in the grand finals and lost ever so closely once again. With all this said, the Canadian zerg has stood head and shoulders above any other competitor from North America in 2013 and has therefore been chosen as the community's player of the year from North America!
