Royal commendation for UK developer
Darren Jobling of Eutechnyx receives a special commendation from the Duke of York for his export sales achievement.
Darren Jobling, director of business development at UK-based developer Eutechnyx, was last night given a special commendation by Prince Andrew, Duke of York, for his export sales achievement. Recent games developed by Eutechnyx include 007 Racing and Big Mutha Truckers, and the studio is currently working on SRS Street Racing Syndicate for 3DO.
"It was a great honor to have Eutechnyx's achievements in the export market recognized by this award, especially considering the serious opposition from other leading exporters in the region," Jobling said. "It is good to see the game development industry acknowledged for the contribution it makes to the UK economy as a whole"
According to today's press release, Eutechnyx recently signed a number of deals to develop games for publishers in North America and Japan, details of which are expected to be announced in the coming months. We'll bring you more information on all of Eutechnyx's games as soon as it becomes available.
