Rollcage Stage II Ships

Midway has announced that Rollcage Stage II for the Sony PlayStation has shipped to retailers nationwide. In this combat-racing game, players can race 20 cars through 65 courses. The game also features 16 different game modes, including five multiplayer modes of play.

"Rollcage Stage II is a racing game for the core fans of speed and destruction," said Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing for Midway. "The new additions and features make this version of Rollcage the ultimate combat racing video game."

The game takes place in 360-degree environments, and players can take shortcuts off walls, on ceilings, and through tunnels. The game was developed by Attention to Detail.
