Rockstar Vienna vets make Games That Matter

An employee's blog reported on the closure of Take-Two Interactive's Rockstar Vienna studio last May, saying that 100 people were left without work as a result. Today it appears three of those people are taking another stab at game development together, as a placeholder site for a new studio called Games That Matter was spotted online by Playthrough.

Games That Matter is the collaboration of Rockstar Vienna's Hannes Seifert, Niki Laber, and Jürgen Goeldner. The Games That Matter site says it uses "a visionary game production business model," but contains little else about the new company. The Web site promises that the business model and goals of the company will be announced next week.
