Rockstar Games has announced that it has secured the North American publishing rights to City Crisis for the Sony PlayStation 2. In the game, players assume the role of a rescue pilot and can take part in three different gameplay modes: flight action, rescue action, and pursuit action. Gameplay objectives include rescuing people and their pets with the use of rescue jumpers and harnesses, fighting fires with water cannons and fire extinguishing missiles, and chasing down hijackers and other felons. Five different helicopter models will be included in the game, including two prototype models.

The Japanese studio Syscom developed City Crisis. The game, not to be confused with Takara's PlayStation 3D shooter of the same name, will be released for the Sony PlayStation 2 on July 27.
