Rockstar offering Thanksgiving, Black Friday GTA 5 discounts

Rockstar Games today announced deals oriented around Thanksgiving and Black Friday for Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer component for the studio's critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto V.

"After you've recovered from gatherings with dysfunctional family members, participating in unplanned scuffles in department stores over drastically discounted kitchen appliances, and engaging in wanton acts of mass poultry consumption, sneak back to Los Santos where a host of GTA Online items will be discounted this holiday weekend," Rockstar said.

As part of a deal dubbed "Turkey Shoot," Rockstar will offer 50 percent off the assault rifle, carbine rifle, advanced rifle, heavy sniper, and the sniper rifle. Players can also grab all rifle attachments and ammo for 50 percent off.

As part of the "Black Friday Sale" for GTA Online, players can buy black colored clothing and accessories for 50 percent off. Some of these items include jewelry, ties, shirts, hats, helmets, and glasses. In addition, players can purchase black colored vehicle modifications like window tinting, black tire smoke, and black licenses plates for 50 percent off.

All deals will be available starting tomorrow, November 28, and running throughout the holiday weekend until the end of day on Sunday, December 1.
