Rockstar Games has today launched a competition that challenges aspiring developers and artists to create mods for Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Official Max Payne 2 mod tools and tutorials have been made available for download from the mod section of the official Max Payne 2 Web site, and prizes will be awarded to the creators of the most compelling mods in three categories--best original mod, best new dead man walking level, and best real-time noninteractive movie.

Prizes up for grabs in the competition include a customized Max Payne 2 PC from Falcon Northwest, an ATI Radeon 9800 XT card, a cordless keyboard and mouse set from Logitech, and all manner of Max Payne 2 goodies.
