Players falling through game worlds and finding strange things isn't a new thing, but it's usually very exciting to see what players discover. The same is true for Rocket League. Reddit user UncomfortableNPC managed to find their way out of Rocket League's wasteland arena, encountering a strange, alien planet of mysterious origin and nature. Check out the video below (via PC Gamer):

UncomfortableNPC also shared their Mutator settings on Imgur so people can try to replicate this strange encounter.

Fans are speculating as to what the alien world actually is and whether or not it is part of Rocket League's mysterious wider lore. Developer Psyonix offered a cheeky response to PC Gamer's story with its own tweet that references The X-Files. There may be an answer, but Psyonix isn't saying.

In other Rocket League news, you can now play a version of the soccer-with-cars game inside of Goat Simulator. Rocket League is available now for PS4 and PC, with an Xbox One version set to arrive in February.
