Rocket League was originally launched in July this year for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Reports suggested the game was spotted online with a rating for Xbox One earlier this week, implying that it would be coming to Microsoft's console soon. In November, developer Psyonix said it may announce the game for additional platforms by the end of the year.

Studio director Dave Hagewood was asked during an interview if the game would ever come to Microsoft's Xbox One, to which he replied, "I can't say... we're looking at all kinds of platforms and there may be some announcements coming up at some point. Hopefully before the end of the year, but I can't confirm that."

Rocket League was very well received in GameSpot's review, scoring a nine out of ten. For more on Rocket League, including recently-release downloadable content, check out our coverage of the game.
