Psyonix continues to update its hit soccer-with-cars game Rocket League with more content. The developer has announced three new arenas for the game, including one for the Rocket Labs playlist.

This map is called Octagon. It is playable for both online and exhibition and is themed around virtual reality, Psyonix said in a blog post. This arena's wall has eight sides, which is where the name comes from, and what will surely lead to some wacky and unexpected bounces.

In addition to Octagon, there are two more classic arena variants coming to Rocket League, the first of which is a version of Urban Central set at dawn. The other is a "stormy" version of DFH Stadium. These variants, like the others that came before it, are playable for online and offline play in exhibition and private matches. They will also show up in Rocket League's ranked playlists.

These three maps are coming to Rocket League through an update coming in September, presumably the same one that includes the game's crazy-looking Rumble mode.

The Rocket Labs playlist was added to Rocket League in February this year. It hosts maps of the more experimental variety and Psyonix gathers feedback before pushing them to other playlists.
