Rock of Ages rolling onto XBLA August 31
Atlus and Ace Team's "tower offense" game gets dated for Xbox 360; PS3 and PC versions to follow later this summer.
Though its name might suggest a timeless quality, Rock of Ages is definitely dated. Atlus today announced that the downloadable game will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade August 31, with PC and PlayStation 3 releases to follow "later this summer."

A distinctive concoction of tower defense, Marble Madness, and art history, Rock of Ages has players engaging in a series of pitched castle-versus-castle battles. Players take turns controlling massive boulders in an attempt to bring their enemy's fortifications down, at the same time investing in upgrades for their own defenses.
Rock of Ages is being developed by Santiago, Chile-based Ace Team. The studio is best known for making Zeno Clash, the downloadable first-person action fighting game released on the PC and Xbox 360. It is also working on a sequel to Zeno Clash, but that project has no release window as yet.
