Actor Robert Downey Jr. is expanding in a new category: coffee. The Oscar-nominated actor has teamed up with entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky to launch "Happy Coffee." The new coffee brand is available now through Happy Coffee's website and at Target and Sprouts grocery stores across the United States.

Downey Jr. told The Hollywood Reporter that coffee is a "perfect substance" that is "magical, consistent, and legal." He added: "It was my mom's beverage of choice, and I followed in her footsteps."

Happy's coffee beans are sourced from eight different countries and come from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. The "cubes" that the coffee comes in are recyclable and reusable, while Happy's coffee pods use FSC-certified paper and are printed with soy-based inks. Every package includes a code that allows users to see where their coffee was grown, harvested, and roasted.

Additionally, Happy Coffee is partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to help create better lives for people affected by mental illness.

"Let's face it: a great cup of coffee can only do so much. Beyond delivering thoughtfully and responsibly sourced coffee, our vision is to help create a world where mental health is valued and understood, and where help is accessible to everyone--free from stigma or fear," the company said.

The Happy coffee comes in light, medium, and dark roasts and starts at $10. You can view the entire Happy Coffee inventory on the company's website.

Downey Jr. is nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the movie Oppenheimer, representing his third nomination following nods for Chaplin and Tropic Thunder.
