Horror director Rob Zombie has provided an update on his movie reboot of the classic '60s sitcom The Munsters. The filmmaker has revealed that construction on the Munsters house is about to start, as well as providing a first look at one of Lily and Herman Munster's costumes.

Zombie shared the images on Instagram. The first is of the blueprint for the Munsters House, which Zombie states would be "the most perfect Munsters house since 1964." The second shows Lily and Herman is their night wear, designed "by our amazing costume designers." Check the costumes out below, and the house blueprint here.

The Munsters will be shot in Budapest, Hungary. In June, Zombie posted from the city, where he stated, "this place is amazing. The locations are perfect."

Zombie confirmed that he was making a new Munsters movie for Universal in June. He stated that he had been wanting to make the movie for two decades, writing, "Attention Boils and Ghouls! The rumors are true! My next film project will be the one I've been chasing for 20 years! THE MUNSTERS!"

The Munsters premiered in 1964 and focused on the home life of a group of friendly monsters. It ran for 70 episodes over the next two years and was followed by several made-for-TV movies. A sequel show titled The Munsters Today arrived in 1988, which ran for 4 years.
