Risk Of Rain 2's New Artifacts Update Is Now Live

Artefacts 2.0, a new stage, and even more items headline a big content patch for Risk of Rain 2.

Comments

Risk of Rain 2 recently had its 1.0 release pushed back until August, but there's new content in the game to enjoy right now. An update has added a new Artifact system to all console platforms (Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4), along with numerous other changes.

Artifacts adds more treasures for you to work towards. New artifacts are unlocked by completing challenges, and then available to equip on your next run. Developer Hopoo Games doesn't spoil what some of these might be, but does say to expect a range of treasures that are both fun and challenging to work with.
