Rise of Nations E3 developer tournament

Those planning to attend next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles could get a chance to challenge Big Huge Games at its own game.

Microsoft has announced that acclaimed designer Brian Reynolds and other members of Big Huge Games will be on hand at Microsoft's E3 booth to play a series of tournament games with attendees of the show. The four-player Rise of Nations tournaments will be held in five one-hour-long time slots next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Winners will receive signed copies of Rise of Nations at the show, well in advance of the game's planned release on May 20. Brian Reynolds will also be available for autographs. Here is the schedule of events:

Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15: 10am-11am: Rise of Nations Challenge 11am-12pm: Brian Reynolds Autograph Session 4pm-5pm: Rise of Nations Challenge Friday, May 16: 10am-11am: Rise of Nations Challenge 11am-12pm: Brian Reynolds Autograph Session
