Revolution Coming to the US

Will Konami finally bring Dance Dance Revolution to the US PlayStation?

Comments

GameSpot has learned that Konami has plans to publish Dance Dance Revolution in the US for the Sony PlayStation. DDR was originally released in Japanese arcades in 1998 and has seen considerable success both in the arcade format and on the PlayStation in Japan. Sources claim that Konami may tweak several aspects of the game for its US release, including adding new song tracks, reworking the song lineup, and adding a more intuitive menu screen. Additionally, there should be some minor changes in making the game more suitable for the US audience.

It is expected that Dance Dance Revolution and the Konami gamepad will be released in January 2001. There has been no confirmation from Konami on the game's US fate.
