Entertainment news site Variety is reporting that Columbia Pictures is working on a film based on Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the popular first-person shooter released last fall by Activision. No further information about the film has been revealed.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is set in Germany during World War II, and it lets players assume the role of an Allied special forces agent sent behind enemy lines to investigate Nazi experiments with the supernatural.
