Retail Radar: PS2 Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters

Earlier this year, High Impact Games was allowed to play in Insomniac Games' playground with Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, the first outing for the dynamic duo on the PlayStation Portable. Size Matters was the first in Insomniac's humor-infused action platforming series to not be developed in-house, and if the retail radar is to be believed, it might not be the last.

Megaretailer GameStop has listed Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters as shipping out for the PlayStation 2 on February 12. The product page has Sony Computer Entertainment America listed as the game's developer. Currently, High Impact Games is at work on Secret Agent Clank for the PSP, and Insomniac is rumored to be at work on the next installment in the Resistance: Fall of Man franchise for the PS3.

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters for the PS2 is currently listed for $29.99 through GameStop's online store. Though its rating is still pending, the PSP version was rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older.

Please note, while retailer listings frequently jump the gun on publishers' product announcements, they should not be taken as final confirmation of a game's existence; nor should the absence of a listing be considered as proof that a game isn't coming to a given platform.
