It is likely the reveals will be related to Alienation, a top-down shooter and spiritual successor to Dead Nation. The title was last seen at E3 2015, though it did not feature heavily in PlayStation press conference. It may be that Sony intends on shining a spotlight on the title at Paris Games Week.
Alienation is a four-player action game with drop-in drop-out multiplayer exclusive to the PlayStation 4. It will feature cooperative, single player, and player-versus-player modes. It does not yet have a release date, this may be another one of the planned reveals. Since Sony has previously confirmed the game for a 2015 release, the wait may not be very long.
Sony's Paris Games Week press conference will take place on October 27. Although the platform holder has not officially confirmed what it will show, LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule is expected to reveal more about its latest project, Dreams, which originally made its debut at E3 2015.
Fans have also speculated that Quantic Dream, the studio behind Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, may also show off its new game at the event, as little has been heard of what the studio has been doing recently.
PlayStation VR is another potential discussion point. Sony has revealed a rough price estimation for its upcoming PlayStation 4 virtual reality headset, saying it will be around the same as "a new gaming platform," but stopped short of specifying a figure. The price is another possible reveal it could make at the event, though this is speculation on our part.
