Capcom has released another batch of comparison screenshots for its upcoming Resident Evil remake, showing just how far the game has come since its first re-release for the GameCube in 2002.

In addition to the comparison images (use the slider to see the differences), Capcom released a bevy of new images from the game. You can see all 19 screenshots in the gallery below.

The first Resident Evil shipped on PS1 in 1996, and six years later, Capcom shipped a remake for the GameCube. This new-gen remaster, with even more graphical enhancements, is scheduled to launch in early 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
