Resident Evil 7 Trailer Invites You to a Dark, Deadly Mansion Full of Cannibals

Capcom has released a creepy new trailer for Resident Evil 7. Titled "Welcome Home," the video invites players into the horrifying Baker family mansion that looks like a place no one should ever visit.

"Home is safe. Home is love... Welcome home!" reads a line from the video's description.

Now Playing: Resident Evil 7: biohazard - Welcome Home Trailer

As you can see in the video embedded above, the Baker family mansion is a dark and eerie place, with danger lurking around the corners. In one sequence, we see a dinner table but instead of food on it, there are body parts, hinting at the cannibalistic nature of the Baker family.

Resident Evil 7 comes out on January 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In other news, Capcom recently announced new preorder bonuses themed around the Resident Evil film series.

The next Resident Evil movie, The Final Chapter, comes out on January 27. This week, Sony released a 360-degree interactive video for the movie that takes you to a killing floor in the Hive.
