Resident Evil 7 Demo Coming to Xbox One and PC Soon
Xbox One and PC players can jump in this month.
A new update for Resident Evil 7's "Beginning Hour" demo, called "Midnight," launched over the weekend on PlayStation 4. It's coming to Xbox One and PC later this month, Capcom has confirmed.
It'll launch on Xbox one on December 9, while PC players can try it out beginning on December 19, Capcom announced on its blog. There will be a "multitude of PC-specific settings and graphics options" on PC, though these were not detailed today.
The Midnight update for the Resident Evil 7 is just the latest tweak for the Beginning Hour demo, as Capcom released a "Twilight" update for it earlier this year. The Midnight update goes even further, allowing players to "explore what lies beyond the mold-covered door, where terrifying growling noises emanate from...."
The PS4 version of the demo includes an optional PlayStation VR mode, while people with a PS4 Pro and a supported TV can experience it in 4K.
Resident Evil 7 launches on January 24, 2017 for all platforms. That's just a few days before the new movie, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, comes out in theaters on January 27. Check out the newest trailer for Resident Evil 7 above, while the latest Final Chapter trailer can be seen here.
