So spooky.

Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 were announced for Nintendo Switch back in June during E3, and now Capcom has announced exactly when they'll release on Nintendo's hybrid system. Not only that, but Capcom announced the Resident Evil Triple Pack for Switch that contains Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6.

Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 release on Nintendo Switch through the eShop on October 29. The games are priced at $30 USD each. Resident Evil 5 for Switch comes with all of the Gold Edition content, while Resident Evil 6 for Switch comes with all previously released DLC, including the Mercenaries and Agent Hunt modes.

As for the Resident Evil Triple Pack, this compilation package includes Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 for Nintendo Switch. RE4 comes on a cartridge, while RE5 and RE6 are digital codes. The Resident Evil Triple Pack costs $60 USD, and it also releases on October 29.

While RE 5 and RE 6 don't release until October for Switch, Capcom is bringing both titles to San Diego Comic-Con. You can find them at the Capcom booth, which is #215 in Hall A.

those are now $10 games on literally every other platform... i mean, at least if all the games were on the cart i could see the collector's being interested but alas, that is not the case like with most switch compilations. the switch is quite possibly the WORST platfrom when it comes to physical game collecting since so little data is actually on the cart itself -- all require massive downloads. we have this same problem on ps4/x1, but that only applies to patches, at least the core game is on the disc and can usually be played without patches.

Calm down there with the hypberole and misinformation. RE4 is on the cartridge, that's not "so little data." Yes certain compilations include the other games as downloads but that doesn't mean the cartridge has "so little data."

Also, no, all do not require massive downloads. That's a straight up lie.

@Bread_or_Decide: what is a lie? this is a complilation where two out of the three games are NOT on the cart and require major downloads! how is that excusable or desireable for collectors?

@Xristophoros: These are not massive downloads. I downloaded RE Revelations 2 in five minutes.

@Bread_or_Decide: resident evil 5 and 6 switch ports will likely be around 10GB each... so a 20GB download will be required to get the full compilation. 20GB is a major download, yes, and a pain in the ass for those who would prefer the compilation in its entirety to be on the cart. switch games are very fragmented in this way but go ahead and keep denying it.

@Xristophoros: No, a massive download is 50GB on PS4 and xbox one which are more than common these days.

Will not be cheap for an amazing but old and tired game, a game with controversy against N people and a game that will break your analog sticks with the abundance of terrible QTEs. But whatever, more games for Switch lovers to play outside their houses.

Glad I waited on RE4. To me, $20 is the right price to get old games on new platforms. RE4 is my favorite game of all time but I’m happy I held off for this triple pack.

I don't care how portable the Switch is, these prices are inexcusable.

@aross2004: It's the cost of the cartridges inflating the price. It should be cheaper digitally but Nintendo wanted physical prices to be the same as digital.
