Shrapnel Games has announced that its upcoming wargame Remote Assault has gone gold. The game is set in the near future, and it includes a variety of features, such as a fully 3D environment, fog-of-war, and true line of sight. In addition, the game features customizable artificial intelligence, a branching campaign structure, and accurate ballistic modeling for tank and artillery shells. The game's damage modeling supports partial damage, so units can lose sensors, movement, armor, or weapons systems without being completely destroyed.

Remote Assault was developed by One Games, and it is scheduled to ship on July 9. For more information, visit the Shrapnel Games Web site and download the playable demo from the link below.
