Remastered Versions of Dino Games Turok 1 and 2 Coming to Xbox One
These '90s games are not extinct.
The Xbox One is getting "new" dinosaur games. Night Dive Studios, the team that brought HD remasters of the first two Turok games to PC in 2015, has announced plans to launch those games for Xbox One.
This information comes by way of a tweet. Someone asked if Night Dive had any plans to launch the '90s games for console, and the studio revealed the games are coming to "Xbox," presumably referencing Xbox One.

As for a PlayStation release, Night Dive didn't commit to anything. "We're evaluating other platforms but can't confirm at this time," it explained (via XboxAchievements).
The new versions of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil feature enhanced graphics and a series of other improvements. However, it remains to be seen how the PC remasters differ from the console versions, if at all.
Additionally, a release date was not announced. We'll report back with new information as it becomes available. It's busy times for Night Dive, as the studio is also working on a remaster of System Shock and System Shock 3.
If you need to play a dinosaur game on Xbox One right now, you can check out Ark: Survival Evolved, which is available through the platform's Game Preview program.
