Following the success of the Source engine-based remake of Day of Defeat, Valve Software has announced that it will digitally distribute another World War II-set first-person shooter. The lucky FPS this time around is Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45, which will be available next Tuesday, March 14, for $24.95 on Valve's Steam download service. Developed by Tripwire Interactive, Red Orchestra began as an extensive mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. However, since winning the $1 million purse in the Nvidia-sponsored Make Something Unreal game-design tourney, the project has evolved into its own stand-alone shooter.
