Rockstar's acclaimed Red Dead Redemption 2 has finally arrived on PC, about a year after the game debuted on PS4 and Xbox One. You can get an idea of what to expect with this new version by watching the impressive launch trailer, or check out our impressions in the video above. But if you're simply wondering whether your PC is capable of handling it, Rockstar has confirmed the minimum system requirements along with the recommended specs for a more ideal experience with everything turned up. Just be prepared for potential crashes, although we might have a solution.

The studio said in a release that it "specifically developed" the game to run on a "wide range" of machines, so you won't necessarily need the beefiest rig to enjoy the game on PC. For those who do have the latest hardware, Red Dead Redemption 2 will shine with a host of new graphical updates and improvements for lighting, textures, and more.
