Red Dead Online 2 Offering Rank-Specific Discounts Off Of Weapons And More

Red Dead Online, the online sister service to Red Dead Redemption 2, rolled out new rewards and benefits for different ranks. Each rank tier will receive a discount off of a weapon or item and other free stuff. In addition to rank-specific rewards, there's a blanket 40% discount on Revolver, Repeater, and Rifle Ammo for gunslingers. All rewards and benefits will be active until April 6.

• 50% off any Repeater

• 40% off a horse and stable stall

• 50% off a coat below Rank 15
• 40% off a tent

Rank 60 and beyond

• Free Navy Revolver
• 40% of a camp dog
• 50% off a stable stall
• Five free Moonshine Mash Refills

Other benefits are also offered to Twitch Prime and PlayStation Plus members. Twitch Prime account holders will get a Collector's Bag, a Polished Copper Moonshine Still Upgrade, and five Moonshiner Role Ranks. PlayStation Plus members will receive a reward for any three Free Ability Cards.

In other Red Dead Redemption 2 news, the soundtrack is heading to vinyl this year and will cost $30. A fan made Hot Coffee mod was also taken down recently for unknown reasons. The mod was a parody of the hidden Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas "Hot Coffee" mini-game where the protagonist, CJ, could have sex with his girlfriend.
