Recore Screenshots Leak Ahead of Microsoft Press Conference

Leaky-3.

Today seems like it's been full of leaks already, from the Titanfall 2 E3 trailer and release date to Dead Rising 4 screenshots and gifs. Now, Recore, the Xbox One and PC game being worked on by Mega Man designer Keiji Inafune, has had several screenshots and its release date posted by Neogaf users ahead of the Microsoft E3 press conference tomorrow.

These screenshots apparently come from the Recore trailer that'll be shown during the Microsoft press conference, and they were published by Neogaf users Gwyn and Ekim. They primarily show off the character design in the game, and one shows a robotic dog accompanying the main droid-like character. You can see the images below.

In addition, Gwyn also leaked the release date of Recore. It'll apparently launch on September 13 in North America, September 15 in Japan, and September 16 in Europe.

Recore's new box art has also apparently been leaked by Twitter user ItsameDennis. Take this box art leak with a grain of salt, as it was originally revealed to feature the protagonist from the neck down standing next to her robotic dog (you can currently see the old box art on the game's Amazon page).

In addition, we do know that Recore is inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Metroid. Not much else is known about Recore, although Gwyn and Ekim have stated that they're not going to leak all of the information from the Microsoft press conference.

We'll be livestreaming and liveblogging the Microsoft press conference tomorrow, so keep an eye on GameSpot for more news about Recore coming out of E3 2016 this week.
