As it turns out, a new smartwatch isn't the only product gaming company Razer would reveal at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show. The company has now announced Project Christine, which promises to be the "world's most modular gaming system."

As PC enthusiasts know, the platform is often considered one of the most open platforms in technology, but customizing a rig is often only an option for the most hardcore fans. Enter Project Christine, a new concept design that will allow any user to build and customize a gaming PC without prior technical knowledge.

What's more, Razer boasts that Project Christine can be "easily and quickly" upgraded without further technical assistance or trepidation that your system could suffer from incompatibility issues.

Project Christine's modular setup allows users to install modules whenever they want--including CPUs, GPUs, or memory and storage. The system features PCI-Express architecture to automatically sync components. Project Christine can also run multiple operating systems.

Every module is sealed and features no cables that users could potentially find themselves troubled by. In addition, each module features liquid cooling and noise cancellation. Lastly, Project Christine features a touch-screen LED display that shows control and maintenance details.

“Project Christine is a new concept design that will revolutionize the way users view the traditional PC. This is the first gaming system that is able to keep pace with technology and could allow consumers to never buy another PC, or gaming system, again," Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said. "We have a history of bringing incredibly innovative concept systems to market and it’s fair to say that Project Christine is a very exciting new prospect for future development."

Razer is not talking about a price or release date for Project Christine right now. Its final name is also likely to change.
