Both Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Rayman Legends failed to reach their sales targets, publisher Ubisoft has stated.

Following yesterday's announcement that Watch Dogs would be delayed to 2014, Ubisoft said it has cut its income expectations for the rest of the current financial year.

"As we have said we have experienced lower sales than we anticipated when we gave our targets," said Ubisoft's Alain Martinez on a financial call to investors (via CVG).

Martinez attributed some of the sales to "already released games such as Splinter Cell, Rayman and others," but attributed the bulk of its lowered sales forecasts to the Watch Dogs delay.

Ubisoft launched Splinter Cell: Blacklist in August, with Rayman Legends following in September.
