Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Trophies

Masters of the Multiverse - Collect Every Trophy in The Game

This one speaks for itself. If you want this one, complete the story and follow the rest of this guide for help on unlocking all the other trophies.

Can't Stop Me - Complete a Gold Cup Battleplex Challenge

Once you reach Scarstu Debris Field (aka Zurkie’s), you’ll unlock the Battleplex Challenges. At first, you can only compete in the Bronze Cup. However, the Silver and Gold cups will unlock later on. For this Trophy, in particular, you need to complete one of the Gold Cup Battleplex Challenges, which become available after completing the story on Viceron (Zordoom Prison).

Hey Lombax DJ - Play Three Songs on Zurkie's Jukebox

Next to the bar at Zurkie’s, you’ll find a Jukebox you can use to change the music. Play 3 songs and the Trophy should pop. It's worth noting that you don’t need to listen to the whole song--just let it play for a few seconds before jumping to the next one.

Sartorial Steel - Acquire a Piece of Armor

This Trophy is simple and should unlock either when you get your first piece of armor early on in the game's story or complete your first Pocket Dimension.

Does This Make My Tail Look Big? - Acquire and Equip Head, Torso, and Leg Armor

All you need to do for this Trophy is unlock a head, torso, and leg piece, and then equip them. They don’t have to be from the same set, so you can qualify for this one by simply equipping the first ones you find. If you need help finding all the pieces, check out our armor set locations guide.

Shiny! - Collect a Gold Bolt

This Trophy is as simple as it sounds. If you need help finding any Gold Bolts, be sure to check out our full Gold Bolt locations guide, detailing how to find every single one in the game.

Nooks and Crannies - Collect Five Gold Bolts

Again, this Trophy requires you to find more Gold Bolts. Refer to our Gold Bolts guide to ensure you nab this Trophy in no time.

They Blow Up So Fast - Get a Weapon to Level Five

To get a weapon to level 5, you simply need to keep using it to gain the required XP. If you're curious how much XP a weapon has, look at the gauge at the top right corner of the screen or refer to the weapon wheel.

There's Even a Cupholder - Fully Upgrade a Weapon

To fully upgrade a weapon, you'll need Raritanum--a limited-use commodity that you can only get so much of in a single playthrough. It's also worth noting that you can't fully upgrade a weapon with Raritanium until it reaches level 5, at which point, all of its upgrade slots will be open. We recommend getting this Trophy sooner than later to ensure that you get it before the Raritanium supply runs dry (at least until you start on new game plus).

If you need help finding Raritanium, they're generally scattered through a level. The game will frequently mark them on your map if you're nearby any, so make sure to explore every nook and cranny. Otherwise, you can complete the side-mission in Ardolis, which will give you a special item that marks nearly every collectible on the map, including all the Raritanium.

Full Rack - Fill a Weapon Wheel

You'll pop this Trophy naturally as you buy more weapons in the game, so don't sweat this one.

Fully Stacked - Purchase All Weapons

Getting every weapon in the game is a bit more involved. Most of the weapons will become available at Ms. Zurkon’s as the story progresses, but others require you to meet special conditions. One weapon, in particular, known as the RYNO 8, can only be unlocked for purchase after you collect all 10 Spybots. For more on how to do that, read our Spybot locations guide.

On the other hand, there are other weapons you can only unlock after you start a new game plus save. These weapons--The Bouncer and Pixelizer--are available at Ms. Zurkon's the moment you access Ms. Zurkon's shop in Megalopolis shortly after starting a new game plus. They're also essentially free, only costing a single bolt each, so you don't need to worry about saving up to get these.

Speaking of new game plus, one thing you'll notice is that you can purchase Omega Weapons from Ms. Zurkon--which are more powerful versions of existing weapons with an increased level cap. These are not necessary to buy to unlock this Trophy.

If you need help earning enough bolts to buy every weapon, the Carbonox Advanced armor gives you a 20% bonus to bolts gained on the field. However, you can only unlock the parts of this armor by completing all Bronze, Silver, and Gold Battleplex challenges.

Glitch, Uh, Finds a Way - Complete All Glitch Challenges

Most of Glitch's hacking challenges occur naturally in the story. However, there are two tied to acquiring Gold Bolts, which are entirely optional. That said, they're hard to miss as they show up on the path to many of the main objectives.

The first one is attached to a terminal in the room with the second Pirate Trial in Ardolis. You can find the second one when you come back to Savali in the story; you'll see it when you drop down in the underground mines after activating the three pieces of machinery. Regardless, once all the Glitch challenges are complete, the Trophy is yours.

Shifty Character - Hit Every Blizon Crystal on Blizar and Cordelion

Hitting every Blizon Crystal should occur organically as you hunt for every collectible on both Blizar Prime and Cordelion. If you need help finding them, refer to the sections for Blizar Prime and Cordelion in our Spybot guide, Gold Bolt guide, and Armor guide.

BOING! - Bounce on Big Al, Clank, and Qwark's Parade Balloons

This is a random Trophy that has you hopping on the fun parade balloons features at the start of the game. You'll jump on Al automatically at the beginning of the story (He's the scientist-looking one in the lab coat). However, you won't find the Clank and Qwark balloons until you reach the Pocket Dimension in Nefarious City, located at the northern section of the map.

Max Relax - Find the Nefarious Citizens by the Hot Springs

On Savali by the outpost in the middle of the planet, you’ll find a giant hot spring. Walk near it to find two robots sitting on lounge chairs. Ratchet will make a funny comment, and then the trophy will pop.

Lombax and Chill - Turn on the TV in Rivet's Hideout

When you first enter Rivet's Hideout, you won't have the opportunity to explore, as you'll be immediately locked into a setpiece action section. However, when that's done, you can come back and press triangle to turn on the TV that Rivet has in her place--which will pop this fun little Trophy.

Alert the Sponsors - Perform Five Trick Jumps on a Grind Rail

This Trophy is easy; simply double jump on a grind rail five times.

Icebreaker - Melee Five Frozen Enemies

To get this Trophy, you'll need to wait until Ms. Zurkon has the Cold Snap weapon for sale. Essentially, this weapon can immobilize enemies by freezing them into place. Use the Cold Snap on five enemies and hit them with your melee weapon to earn this Trophy. Alternatively, if you don't have enough bolts to buy the Cold Snap, you can use it and earn this Trophy while completing the "Freezer Pop" Silver Cup challenge at Zurkie's Battleplex.

No Need for Multiball - Kill Two Enemies With a Single Ricochet Round

To earn this Trophy, you'll need to wait until Ms. Zurkon has the Ricochet weapon for sale. Once it's in your possession, we recommend trying to earn this one by using it on larger groups of small enemies, like Horned Toads or Puffoids. Simply deploy the Ricochet and keep spamming R2; eventually, you'll get in the lucky hit needed to pop this Trophy.

Return Policy - Kill 10 Enemies by Returning Shots with the Void Reactor

To earn this Trophy, you need to get the Void Repulsor to level 5, so it transforms into the Void Reactor. Once you've met those conditions, find some enemies that shoot bullets (not lasers) and guide them back to kill 10 enemies.

Hole Puncher - Get 20 Headshots with the Headhunter

When the Headhunter sniper rifle becomes available to purchase at Ms. Zurkon's, all you need to do is get 20 headshots to earn this Trophy.

Life of the Party - Deploy 50 Mr. Fungis

When Mr. Fungi becomes available to purchase at Ms. Zurkons, you must deploy it 50 times to get this Trophy. This should inevitably occur as you play the game since Mr. Fungi is an essential support weapon in battle.

Extreme Gardening - Defeat 30 Enemies While They are Topiary'd

Similar to Life of the Party, this one is another slow-burn Trophy. Once you've got the Topiary Sprinkler, make it a habit to throw one or two out during every firefight and then unleash destruction on the enemies who've been hindered by it. Before long, you should have this Trophy by the end of the game.

It's So Fluffy! - Find a CraiggerBear

Craiggerbears are the only collectibles in the game that aren't explicitly marked on the map, even after finding the collectibles map on Ardolis. These little stuffed animals are scattered throughout the entire game, with one on each planet. This Trophy simply requires that you find one. If you want to find them all, then check out our Craiggerbear location guide.

UnBEARably Awesome - Find all CraiggerBears

This Trophy requires you to find all the Craiggerbears. Again, read our Craiggerbear location guide for details on how to find them all.

Extinction Event - Kill Five Grunthors

Gunthors are the giant dinosaur-like alien creatures you fight on Sargasso. There are quite a few of them roaming around, so you should easily unlock this Trophy as long as you thoroughly explore the planet. You'll also sometimes encounter undead skeletal Grunthors, which do not count toward this Trophy progress.

Just Stay Down - Defeat 30 Ejected Nefarious Trooper Heads

At times, Nefarious Troopers will pop out of their armor if you break the suit but not their heads--something that frequently occurs in battle. Simply eliminate 30 Nefarious Troopers in this manner, and this Trophy should unlock in no time.

Must Go Faster - Do a Trick Jump While Going at Max Speed with the Hoverboots

You first unlock the Hooverboots on Savali. To get to top speed, press L2 three times while they're active. Once you're zooming about, find a ramp and do a double jump off it to pop this Trophy.

Planning Some Destruction - Collect a Spybot

Spybots are incredibly useful, as collecting them all unlocks the RYNO--the game's most powerful weapons. All you need to get this Trophy is to collect a single Spybot. If you're looking to find them all, then check out our Spybot location guide.

Aim to Misbehave - Acquire the RYNO

As mentioned, collecting all the Spybots nets you the RYNO--which will become available at Ms. Zurkon's shop the moment you have them. Refer to our Spybot location guide for details on how to collect them all. Regardless, this Trophy will unlock the moment the RYNO is in your hands.

Feeding Friendsy - Collect 10 Zurpstones for Trudi

After completing the story Zurkie's, Mort will call you back to Sargasso, asking for your assistance with Trudi--a pterodactyl-like alien creature. This side-mission has you collecting what are called Zurpstones. Grab the 10 needed and return to Mort to unlock this Trophy.

Sweet, Sweet Victory - Collect Honey for Chef Tulio

This is the Trophy you earn for completing the side mission on Blizar Prime, where you must find the Missing Chef. You'll find it available to you the moment you arrive at the Mining Hub; it's marked with a blue objective marker on the map. It's not too difficult--all you must do is defend a key point from a few incoming waves of enemies.

Might've Broken Something - Collect Three Lorbs

When you get to the outpost on Savali, you'll encounter a side-mission involving a monk. He'll ask you to recover ancient Lombax codex pieces known as Lorbs. First, he wants you to retrieve one for him, which you should find with no issue at the Lorb pedestal nearby. However, you'll then be tasked with finding three more Lorbs on your own. It's not too difficult to find two more at that point, as they're generally near the mission objectives in Savali. Keep a close eye out, and you should find the necessary Lorbs to unlock this Trophy with ease.
