Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus includes Quest for Booty
Insomniac Games reveals voucher code to be included with all physical copies of upcoming Ratchet & Clank game.
Insomniac Games announced today that all physical copies of the $30 Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will include a download code for Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty.
Quest for Booty was released in 2008 and was the first downloadable game in the Future saga.
Insomniac Games also announced today that Into the Nexus has gone gold, meaning it is now heading to manufacturing for mass production. The game will be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 on November 12.
Meanwhile, Sony also announced today that Into the Nexus' release in Europe has been delayed a week. The game will now hit PS3 in that region on November 20 (November 21 in Spain; November 22 in the United Kingdom and Ireland).
Into the Nexus will be "shorter" than other entries in the action game series, and this was intentional, Insomniac Games community lead James Stevenson said earlier this month.
"Some of you have asked us why we made a shorter Ratchet game. The truth is, we relished this ability to tie a bow on the PS3 era of Ratchet with a shorter title," he said. "All of us love the Ratchet universe--and after 12 years developing the series, it feels like a very close friend. We have a lot of stories to tell, some longer, some shorter. This one felt just right."
Into the Nexus is an epilogue to the Future games (Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time) and features a new story and arsenal of weapons and gadgets.
