Rare: Xbox One launching in November

Developer reveals launch month for Microsoft's next-generation console; Kinect Sports Rivals a launch title.


The Xbox One will launch in November, a Rare representative revealed today in a pre-E3 presentation on Spike TV. A more specific launch date was not provided.

The revelation came as part of Rare's announcement of Kinect Sports Rivals, an all-new motion-control game. It is an Xbox One launch title and will feature soccer, rock climbing, Jetski racing, target shooting, and tennis.

Microsoft's official E3 briefing kicks off at 9:30 a.m. PDT.
