Rare Gets More Nintendo Support
UK-based Rare increases their operations, and Nintendo takes a larger stakein the company.
UK-based Rare has been a Nintendo exclusive developer for quite some time. Now comes news that Nintendo is purchasing an even bigger minority share in the company, as well as becoming a worldwide distributor for their titles. The first title which Rare will self-publish is Conker's Quest, a 3-D action/adventure platform game in the style of Mario 64.
Although Rare is now self-publishing their titles, they will remain a Nintendo-exclusive developer.
