A gaming memorabilia auction has been set up to help raise funds for the family of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor producer Michael Forgey, who passed away earlier this year from cancer. Proceeds from the sale of items, including rare, signed gaming consoles and more, will be given to Forgey's family.

Some of the items featured in the eBay auction include a PlayStation 4 featuring the Shadow of Mordor logo and signed by the development team, a Shadow of Mordor NASCAR hood, and a glacier white PS4 signed by Destiny developers at Bungie. Other items include signed copies of Mortal Kombat X by series creator Ed Boon and numerous items from Batman developer Rocksteady Studios.

Also up for bidding is a studio tour of Shadow of Mordor developer Monolith's office in Washington. You can see all of the items featured in the auction here.

"All of his friends in the game industry have decided to work together to sponsor this auction to help out Mike's family," reads a line from the auction page. "Don't miss this rare opportunity to bid on these unique items. All proceeds go to his family."

Forgey passed away on March 3 from a rare form of cancer known as glioblastoma, his family reported.

"His last few days were peaceful with his family by his side," reads an update on his YouCaring page, where money was being raised to cover his medical expenses and support his children's future.

"Mike was so touched by everyone's support during his fight. His family wants to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this difficult time."

In addition to Shadow of Mordor, Forgey worked on the first two Gears of War games, Fable, and Conker.
