Rallisport Challenge 2 teams with Volvo

Unique cross-promotion mixes driving game, hard-driving music, and cars.


Volvo has licensed the use of footage and music from Microsoft's upcoming Rallisport Challenge 2 and is using them in its latest television advertisement for the Volvo S40. The ad is unique in that it only uses footage generated by the game, or as the disclaimer in the ad reads, "Animated driver on animated course." Furthering the cross-promotion, the S40 ad features the music track "2 Days Or Die" by Atlas Plug (also known as musician/producer Tom Salta), the same track used for the opening cinematic in Rallisport Challenge 2.
