Ubisoft has announced that the Road to Six Invitational in-game event will be returning to Rainbow Six Siege this year, alongside the Six Invitational 2021 Battle Pass. The event is now live.

The event will run Monday-Thursday every week from January 21-February 22. Returning to Siege for the occasion is the ultimate competitive Stadium map, which combines elements of both the Coastline and Border maps. Players will have access to all of the game's Operators while playing through three-round, three-minute, unranked Plant Bomb matches with Pick and Ban mode enabled.

Players interested in the Six Invitational 2021 Battle Pass will have access to it until February 22. It will feature 100 tiers, 135 rewards, and both a Free and Premium track, with the Premium going for 1200 R6 credits. Team captains for the event (Mira, Capitão, Ash, and Vigil), along with their teams will be decked out in Battle Pass-themed outfits as well. By progressing through the different tiers, players can earn exclusive gear for the captains and their teams, and get access to exclusive content. 30% of the revenue from this Battle Pass will go towards the Six Invitational 2021 prize pool, up to $3 million USD.

The actual Six Invitational 2021 event will be taking place from February 9-21, with the best teams in the world competing to take home the championship. This year's tournament will feature 20 teams competing in a LAN environment in Paris, France. In order to follow safety and social distancing guidelines, no audience will be allowed at the event in-person, but fans will be able to catch the matches on Twitch and YouTube, alongside developer panels diving into the future of Siege.
