Ubisoft's team-based shooter, Rainbow Six Siege, had some server problems on January 25. To make up for those issues, Ubisoft is compensating players with a "1 Day Booster" for everyone who logged in that day. This bonus is available for players on all platforms, including Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The game also faced issues today, January 26, and to make up for those problems, Ubisoft has unlocked a 50 percent Renown Bonus Event for everyone. This is good for the next 24 hours on all platforms. Ubisoft also mentioned that a booster like the one for the January 25 issues can be used simultaneously with the Renown Bonus Event, so you can pick up even more Renown.

In other Siege news, Ubisoft has announced the game's next free DLC map, Coastline, which comes to the game with the Operation Velvet Shell expansion.

Maps for Siege are released for free to all players, while the characters will be for free to anyone who purchases a season pass for Year Two. Everyone else will need to unlock them with either an in-game currency or one obtained in exchange for real-world money.

Siege's previous expansions included content themed around countries such as the United States, Japan, Brazil, and Canada, among others.
