Rage reorganizes
The UK developer has been sold to Swordfish Studios and is suing its US distributor, Majesco.
According to the UK trade publication MCV, Rage Software's management has reorganized and sold the company to Swordfish Studios for 1 pound. Swordfish Studios was founded by Rage executives, and it's unclear how the sale will affect the studio's business. MCV also reported that Rage is pursuing a legal claim against Majesco for $1.67 million that Majesco allegedly owes Rage for games distributed in the US.
Rage's Mobile Forces recently came out in the US. Ubi Soft plans to release Rage's Rocky game this November for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and GBA.
