Square Enix's next role-playing game, Radiata Stories, will be released on January 27 in Japan. That's the word from import games retailer National Console Support, who posted the PlayStation 2 release schedule for January earlier today. Developed by Tri-Ace, creators of the Star Ocean series and Valkyrie Profile, Radiata Stories is a traditional fantasy-style RPG with 3D graphics.

No US release plans for Radiata Stories have been announced. For more information, see GameSpot's hands-on impressions from the Tokyo Game Show, or our previous news coverage.
